In March of 2015 Kt joined Molly Baker, Brigid Mander, & Liza Sarychevski on a ski trip to Slovenia & Italy's Julien Alps. 

The cobblestone streets, narrow couloirs, and rugged mountain landscape provided an excellent venue for a European adventure. 

Brigid Mander wrote a story on the trip for Backcountry Magazine. 

While in Europe collected the first fresh water samples for Adventurers & Scientists for Conservation's mircoplastics project. You can read more about her experience collecting and the results at this blog post:
